About Me

How it all started…

I’ve loved cooking for as long as I can remember.  I was never really taught how to cook, there was the odd bit of help along the way from my Mum, Grandma and some TV shows but I could always just do it. So many people say they can’t cook but just try it, you might be surprised.

I started this blog-after a suggestion from my sister-partly because I want to keep my recipes somewhere that I can’t lose them; partly to share them with other people and partly because maybe it’ll help me with what I hope to do one day: make a living in something to do with food though for now, I enter cooking competitions, write this blog and fit school in along the way.

A bit more about me…

Likes: Baking; cooking; anything red velvet-y; food in general if I’m being honest; Topshop; vans originals; vintage shops; beaches; cities; reading cook books; sun; summer; swimming; music- I can’t do anything without it; surfing; my friends; my family; JLS; sunglasses; shopping; taking photos.

Dislikes: Cold; not living near the sea; school lunches; fake looking food- I’m talking teddy shaped ham and full English breakfasts in a tin; rubbish; winter- I’ve convinced myself I have S.A.D; early mornings; losing.

Wish list: A Rangemaster cooker; to have a recipe book published; be on- or ideally have my own-cooking show; black Christian Louboutins; to surf in Australia, Hawaii and Indoneisa- I need to get over the hurdle of being good enough first; to go to Coachella; a Kenwood mixer; an SLR; a pizza oven- preferably one of those traditional, wood-burning outdoor ones; a waffle iron; Ray Bans; to grow past 5 foot- can’t see that one happening if I’m honest.
